Night Owl Confessions, Musings and Other Posts.
II got the day off from work, and decided I hadn't been to my neighborhood thrift store in a while. I went in looking for something particular when something completely ridiculous caught my eye. A hand carved, hand painted, glittery tongued frog mirror! Complete with a giant rubber fly! Sadly, there was no price tag. So I hauled it up to the counter and waited for a manager to tell the cashier a fair price.
Now what would one expect to pay for this fine frog mirror? "I wouldn't!" said the laughing man behind me in line.
The price check came back at $12.99, and I'm the proud owner of this unique gem. The new chore now will be finding the perfect spot to hang it.

I just posted "If I were living in a video game, then my energy level would only have 1 bar right now."
And moments later, I received this call from Nap Support.
Night Owl Confession #4.8.17-
This afternoon, I went to visit my beloved friends and see the first baby goats of the kidding season. When I arrived, there was one momma who had two babies just an hour before I arrived. I made sure to hold one of the newborns before I left and took this photo. This photo cracks me up for one main reason. This little buck is approximately 2 hours old, he can't quite stand yet because his legs are still wobbly, and yet he has the smile on his face like he is ready to rule the world. Give him a day, and he will be bouncing off the walls, making people laugh and climbing to the highest point in the barn.
I can totally relate to this little goat. This has been a very busy week, and I'm looking forward to a lazy Sunday. My body is tired, and I'm in need of my rest. But much like him, I know I have the twinkle in my eyes, the smile on my face and the determination to be someone who continues to make things happen. And even if I can't reach the highest point in my "barn", then at least I know I can always fall back on humor and making others smile and laugh.
i spent the weekend at the NOCO Hemp Fest working with my beloved friend, Jules. The first day was chill. We didn't have a lot of business, but had a great time people watching. The first day, we were being circled by a guy we affectionately named "Dragon Butt"
Dragon Butt was clearly our favorite. We couldn't help but wonder if he would return the following day wearing a new pair of jeans with a snake or tiger embroidered on his ass. Sadly, our time with Dragon Butt was limited and will never be forgotten.
